A Muslim-owned submarine (or two or three) is a good (for the enemy) way to plug the (Muslim-owned) Malaysian Straits to control the flow of oil to Japan, China, Korea.

Thanks for that explanation. I was wondering why in the world Malaysia would need a submarine. Now I know.

And how are they supposed to be at their posts when they have to pray 5 times a day?

Unlike the United States the Chinese play hard ball. With as many Chinese as there are in Malaysia if something went south with the two countries the Chinese would not hesitate to come up with a solution that would consist of a fabricated incident of an anti Chinese uprising in Malaysia that would result with the Chinese attacking/blockading or otherwise Malaysia and thus making it a free fire zone. I'm sure the U.N would approve as the Chinese seem to have so much wait there of late.
In simple terms, China invades Malaysia to save the Chinese.
