“Sounds like a Liberal.”
Don’t jump too fast. He’s a Texan from a ranching family.
I agree. They provide a terrible example of the worst of humanity. It won’t be long before the Brady Campaign is there to suck up to the liberal media and get coverage. I pray for the families and I hope the perp gets life or lethal injection.
Oh, and he tackled the shooter by himself. Deer Creek Middle School is 3 miles SW of Columbine High, BTW. Both kids will be OK according to newsers.
Shooter had long hair, was dressed like a “skater” according to students.
???
We need to ban kids from schools. That’s the only way to stop these things from happening again.
Why? There are some extremely brilliant Conservatives in the Publc School system. And the “MATH” teacher is a hero. Hero and Liberal do not go together...that would be an OXYMORON.
You know what they say about early reports. Police spokesperson said the man did not enter the school and the shootings happened outside.
Several witnesses described seeing an adult racing at the gunman after the first shot was fired, and a parent confirmed it was Benke.
We use the word “hero” too freely these days.
Mr. Benke, you, sir, are a hero. No ifs, ands or buts.
Colonel, USAFR

Hero is correct. Mr. Benke saved lives today.
When I heard about this on the way home from work my stomach dropped.
Columbine will never leave my mind and heart, I believe that many people in Colorado especially those of us living in the Denver metro area feel the same way.
Colonel-Thank you for your service.
I expect Dr. Benke will feel the same way.
Eye witness account by bus driver who helped after Benke tackled shooter:
Live news conference, 32 year old male suspect.
I don't think I'd just be holding him for the cops - I'd be bashing his head into the ground. I think I hate them as much as you do!
The weapon is, Uh, uh, uh ,uh a rifle.
He damn well is a hero - without consideration for his life he acted - that’s a hero by my definition.
Is it still on?
Denver 2 and 31 are still carrying it.
Thank you Mr. Benke - Math teacher - Hero
Thanks.
I’ve been shuffling through the channels looking for it.
