So, McConnell chose John McCain (who told us in 2008 that we didn’t have to fear Obama as President), one strong conservative (Dr. Coburn), and the rest not so much. These choices McConnell made in the face of a grassroots conservative resurgence in the country making clear that a conservative solution is what we demand. Way to read those tea leaves, Mitch.

Keep in mind that McCain ran his 2008 campaign as though Obama was a nice guy who was worthy to be elected President, but this year is treating his Republican opponent in the Arizona Senatorial campaign, J. D. Hayworth, as though he were an avowed Enemy of the United States.

Just a little perspective.
