From what I have seen of US Air Force base security, I would not want to be in a car that crashed the gate. I would think the dead and wounded are most probably from within the car that violated security.

The MPs at Air Force bases are responsible for protecting 100s of millions of dollars worth of aircraft. Security must be and is, tight.

FYI...Air Force bases have Air Force Police. U.S. Army bases have M.P.’S..I know I am being picky....the only difference is the name and some of the work they do..I’m an old grumpy MP vet....
