They are now "Security Forces", within SF you have LE (Law Enforcement) and Security (Guard facilties, air craft, etc)

When I was in the Military, 67-70, Okniawa, Kadena AFB, and Naha AFB were secured by AP’s. Now the SP handle was applied in the 70’s or 80’s.
