I believe Obama is a U.S. citizen, Hayworth says
politicalticker.blogs ^ | February 22, 2010 | Martina Stewart

Former Rep. J.D. Hayworth is putting to rest any notion that he is a "birther," a believer in the unsubstantiated theory that President Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen and, therefore, not eligible to be president of the United States.

And you know zero is a natural born citizen? What is your proof? The long form he won’t show? The forged document he posted online? The cases he’s fighting to keep from showing the possibly non-existent long form?

My problem with this is that anyone wishing to be POTUS should eagerly prove that he’s eligible. Obama is hiding something and we shouldn’t have to guess at what it is.

4 years isn’t even a full senate term. JD is concentrating on Immigration, spending and cap n trade... he is running against McCain, not Obama.

It bothers you more that he didn't write his own biography than if he's Constitutionally fit for office??

Just wow

I’m mad that his fictional biography is still serving as “his life’s story,” without any interest from the news media bothering to check into his background, let alone “fact check” or demand transcripts, let alone a certified copy of his ... birth certificate.

All I know for certain, is that stupud voters elected the son of a Muslim, Kenyan, alcoholic Communist to our nation’s highest office, whom I think is a Marxist.

Fine. Still doesn’t do any good to be wishy washy and flip flop.

I still support JD, so no worries.

If your post was sarcasm or supposedly supposed to be funny, maybe you should post a tag....it's getting harder and harder to tell around here anymore.

RINO's make my skin crawl...anyone who support Mitt is a RINO, so it's all good.

Yea well that must mean anyone who supports McCain is a RINO, Palin are you listening? Btw 'RINO' Savage was the first to have JD on his show. He also had Phil Berg on to discuss the BC issue unlike 'non-RINOS' Rush, Hannity, Levin, Beck.

A RINO is one who supports liberal policies with an R next to their name, Savage does not support liberal policies nor does he claim to be a Republican. Savage hates RINO and believes Romney is a conservative.

I think I am still shocked we have the requirement and yet no way or no one to confirm the candidate meets the requirment. That said here is the rest of JD's statement:

Hayworth says McCain’s leftward slant and President Obama’s growing unpopularity will ultimately be the key factors. “Midterms are about the chief executive, too,” he says. “At the same time, being a challenger requires me to scrutinize the record of the one I’m challenging, and fighting back when he says things that he knows are factually wrong. Age isn’t the issue here; I have no doubt he will work very hard. It’s about outlook. It’s time for him to come home.”

My question for JD would be: which hospital was he born in, and who delivered him?

The only response you can expect is an instant change of subject. The most obvious questions raised by Certifigate are simply never answered.

The most basic birther demand: That Obama produce the best available documentation of his birth. He has not done it, and there must be a good reason why he has not done it.

I'll add my own obvious question: What last name appears in Obama's mother's signature on Barack's long form? Does she sign her name as Obama or as Dunham? If she used Dunham, is that what Barack has been trying to hide?

Pretty sad when the people no longer Demand Honesty .. from politicians.

We have a guy in the office of POTUS who has less proof of his background than I am required to have .. just to get a job washing dishes!

You said it I didn't, and time will tell won't it.

Since Palin has yet to start campaigning for Mc Cain and show her "support" we'll have to wait that one out and see what she has to say. Personally I view it as more payback than support but we'll see.

Savage hates RINO and believes Romney is a conservative.

Savage must be delusional if he really believes that....Mitt a Conservative....too funny.

I posted the rest of his statement in this thread and he specifically said he has to concentrate on the one he is running against in this contest. I found him very focused like a laser on the hot issues that are important to Arizona last Saturday night.

JD’s statement is absolutely excellent! Exactly the right words and tone!

He had to put aside the birth issue, My God, McCain would have killed him with that -— called him a kook — and made it a campaign issue as a way to deflect from the issues of immigration and McCain’s other short-comings!

JD is running a very wise campaign. He’s hitting McCain where he hurts. Did you EVER imagine McCain would admit that he was fooled or tricked into supporting the bailout? LOL.

I also read where McCain said President Bush “asked” him to come back to DC and that’s why he interrupted his campaign!

I can’t imagine President Bush doing that! I’ll wager that’s a fib.

Oh so quick to judge Savage but not with Palin, I’m so sick of these equivocating hypocrites that call themselves conservative, so call him delusional if you wish but he is certainly not a RINO.

More likely Salter and the rest of his "team" said he should do it to look large and in charge. Instead he came off as some sort of idiot when all he did was hang out with his wife and Graham at expensive restaurants while they were in DC and then when they had the meeting in Bush's office McCain hardly said a word... and yet this is the man with the same team threatening to go scorched earth on JD, so yes... JD had to put that to bed because McCain was already trying to skewer him over it and there is too many old people in Arizona who would never vote for someone they thought was a kook and McCain knows that...

Now, that said.. two weeks ago I was in Walgreens and this old woman starts talking my ear off in the shampoo aisle and she is going on and on about how horrible Obama is and she says: and you know he isn't even a citizen!.. I had to laugh since I didn't know this woman from Adam.. but she isn't alone in these parts.

Wow, did you even read my post?

I didn't say Savage was a RINO, I said Mitt was and Savage is delusional if he thinks any different.

As far as Palin is concerned I stated that I would wait and see and make a judgment based on future events and what she has to say.

You need to learn to read before you jump on your equivocating conservative hypocrite meme.
