Well, I have heard (per Bill O’Reilly, yesterday on FNC) that many ‘executive orders’ that were viable in the 70’s and 80’s are no longer able to be put in force. I just want to do a little checking, here on this one..........tha’s all, Mr. or Ms. Whenifhow.
Hope you are having a nice evening.
Please do, yorkie and thank you. I think I recently heard that the EO mentioned was signed by JFK and rescinded by Nixon. In any case; bring it! As Wyatt Earp said to the punk card dealer in Tombstone ... “Pull that smoke wagon and see what happens!”
Here is a list of all the Executive Orders:

Whenifhow, thank you so much for your links. I am looking forward to checking them out tomorrow, (after a good night’s sleep), and will reply responsibly.
The armed US population is the largest militia force on planet earth. Because our people are so well-armed, no country has ever dared to invade us (in any meaningful way).
90 million US gun owners will not go down without a fight. No foreign aggressor would ever be foolish enough to attempt a land invasion of this country, and the American people will never let a domestic aggressor enslave them, either.
This sounds like the same BS I’ve heard before,,,
I’ll give my same answer,,,
Nobody can impose their will on 90,000,000 gunowners that
keep buying the total ammo production of the US of A!!! + -
This makes us the largest land army on earth,,,
How many of O’Bammy’s Mau Mau squads will fight to the
death for their homes ?,,,
Where is his army gunna come from ?...
You forgot to add the 25 Chinese combat divisions hiding in the Texas sagebrush. And there’s all the Russian tanks on flatbed railroad cars stored in Montana. Don’t forget the vego-matic guillotines hidden in every townhall basement that will slice and dice 100 million Americans.
People with too much time on their hands are dusting off the old Clinton stories from back in the 1990s.
We have real threats to confront, and the fat bureaucrats at Interpol isn’t one of them. Nor are the stupid bed-wetters in high school a threat. They will fight to the death their right to sit in front of a screen and play games.
Dying on a hilltop for the glory of obuma? Give me a break...
Go lick a toad.
That was your first mistake. Listening to and or watching O’Reilly.
Thankfully, I believe you are correct. He didn’t move before the mask fell off.

DHS Report: Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment dated Apr 7, 2009
Scope: The information is provided to federal, state, local, and tribal counterterrorism and law enforcement officials so they may effectively deter, prevent, preempt, or respond to terrorist attacks against the United States.
The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.
Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.

RAND Report Conclusions dated 2009
The Military Police option was attractive for a number of reasons, especially its capacity, training, and logistical capabilities, but its inability to engage in policing activities when not deployed (overseas) was a major stumbling block.
The Posse Comitatus Act precludes military personnel from exercising police functions in a civilian setting (on US soil against Americans), and legislative relief might be difficult to get.
Even if such relief were forthcoming, it is unclear where and how routine police skills might be honed.
Creation of a civilian Stability Police Force would not affect the roles that other elements of the U.S. government would play.
Rather, it would complement other agencies such as the departments of Defense and State. But the SPF would provide a necessary capability, and the U.S. Army should support its creation.”

AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL
AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO
ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words “except those provided by Section 2©, Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act” and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.
Section 2c of the United States International Organizations Immunities Act:
Property and assets of international organizations, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable.
Inviolable archives means INTERPOL records are beyond US citizens’ Freedom of Information Act requests and from American legal or investigative discovery (”unless such immunity be expressly waived.”)
Property and assets being immune from search and confiscation means precisely that wherever they may be in the United States. This could conceivably include human assets - Americans arrested on our soil by INTERPOL officers, or even International Forces operating on our soil.

Thanks for putting that together.....
I believe that on November 4, 2008, as a Nation, we committed suicide. Or at least attempted it.
Thank you for pinging me to this, - it looks like you did all the homework for us, and I appreciate your time and effort.
What amazes me, is that there are so few posts, here - and this is a topic that I believe most FReepers would want to seriously look into.
I hope everyone you pinged will at least take some time to read what you have posted, and share with other posters.
It looks like our country and it’s citizens could possibly face some serious times ahead......................
A bunch of scary looking plans by would-be tyrants do not frighten me, as long as I’m a citizen of a nation that has 90 million gun owners in it, holding an estimated 320 million firearms.
I’m even less afraid, because I know that if push comes to shove, my fellow citizens will do what’s necessary to protect themselves and their neighbors from harm.
I fear you are correct. I've been trying to read what I can & make changes in our lives. Prayers for all of us.
Just because we have guns now, does not mean that they cannot 0r will not attempt to take them.
When the populace is disarmed, (and don’t think it cannot happen) there will be no one to stand in their way.
As retired military, and I actually hate to admit this...
I saw three Apache attack helicopters fly over my house last week, and for the first time in my life, I didn’t know whether to cheer, or to pray.
I do not like the way I felt, and still feel.
I don’t like what is happening to the Country that every generation of my family has fought to protect.
We have served proudly in Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines...
No, I don’t like what is happening in our Country.
Friend, to believe that our government can disarm 90 million citizens, you have to believe that nearly all of them will willingly, and docilely give up their guns.
Not.
If this were Great Britain, you'd be right about that. Those people did that very thing when their government banned all personal firearms.
But, this isn't Great Britain. Those people never had an absolute right to keep and bear arms encoded into their nation's fundamental charter. Our right to keep and bear arms is written into our Founding Document, the Constitution. Americans are not going to simply allow our government to abolish the 2nd Amendment without a fight.
If our government were capable of taking our guns, it would have already happened a long, long time ago. The Marxists have been angling to take over this country for at least a century, and would have done so, if the 2nd Amendment weren't standing in the way.
Read some of the recent news about 2nd Amendment issues. Gains to better secure our gun rights have been steady and ongoing for a good while now, and the trend shows no sign of slowing down.
By the way, thank you for service, and for that of your family.
