How long will it take for every last American to realize President Barack Obama is not about bipartisanship, reconciliation (other than as a process to cram his health care bill through Congress) and uniting Americans? As his latest gyrations on health care demonstrate, he will not be deterred in his quest to saddle Americans with socialized medicine, even if it greatly increases the likelihood he won't be re-elected.
Here we have Obama, frenetically busy with at least three of his hands, pushing different buttons and sending mixed signals. I guess being a self-perceived messiah means you don't have to worry about being flagrantly inconsistent, even on the same day or in the context of one speech.
He's invited Republicans to a bipartisan summit on health care, intending to create the illusion that he's interested in conservative ideas on the subject.
But at the same time -- he can't even pretend long enough to let this ruse play out -- he is threatening Republicans that if they filibuster current congressional health care proposals, he will urge Congress to pass Obamacare by bastardizing the reconciliation process.
But wait, just like a Ginsu knife infomercial, there's more. Obama has also unveiled the outlines of his own new health care proposal, but it is hardly a model of bipartisanship.

Nobama is probably the dumbest person that could have been put in the white hut.
He is a con artist and will not make it to the end of his term.
Whatever he contracts, I hope it is the most painful thing that can ever come along.
Democrats see “bipartisanship” as some sort of magical incantation they can utter that causes the opposition to do their will. Similar to “racist!”
Fake Bipartisanship Well. This clown can’t even fake being president well.
Hw will never resign. He thinks the world is about him.
He can’t admit he made a mistake.
I hope to see him led out in handcuffs. (I can dream )
Can’t get his own peeps to vote on his crap agenda so he creates the mirage that the republicans are the ones holding up his dream for America. It’s a trap and what the republicans do will decide thier fate in the future.
I’m sure he fully expects to be re-elected. The Chicago team will use tactics that will make the 1972 “dirty tricks” seem like child’s play. With unlimited funds and unlimited unscrupulousness, he won’t be a pushover, no matter how unpopular his policies are. In a 3-way race, 42% of the popular vote can be enough to get a landslide in the electoral college (see 1912, 1968, 1992).
looks like Brown is going to help him.
Do Obama and the democrats have a suicide pact in play? Bill Clinton at least knew when to back off.
At this point, any conservative who isnt willing to talk openly and LOUDLY about secession and reorganization will be shown to be a TRAITOR and/or a COWARD.
Under a secession and reorganization plan, a number of states would secede and then re-assemble under the U.S. Constitution (AS WRITTEN) as the Reorganized United States of America. All U.S. states would be invited to join - and most would.
The R-USA would have no obligation to pay the unconstitutionally acquired debts of old USA.
That would leave the Kenyan Usurper to preside over Vermont, TAXachusetts, bankrupt California and maybe a couple other states including Hawaii.
Huh? Not sure I follow your drift.
Ohhhh I get it now. I see the article about Brown crossing over to the enemy side, to vote for cloture on the demoRATs $15B "jobs" bill. Sigh/
And with his tendency to now play McClame's role in the senate, Brown could very easily vote with 0bozo the commie pig on the healthcare monstrosity. It really is kind of pissing me off as I write this....what a prick!
I knew he was a squishy "republican" who said right after the election that he was independent and owed his election to no special interest group. But just for a change it would be nice to see a so-called "moderate" actually break to the right and become a fire-breathing rabid conservative. I know I'm a dreaming a fantasy....

Rename, repackage, rewrite it a tad smaller, and sell another pig in a poke.
Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)

TRI CARE FOR LIFE This from a google search:

This option would help reduce the costs of TFL, as well as costs for Medicare, by introducing minimum out-of pocket requirements for beneficiaries. Under this option, TFL would not cover any of the first $525 of an enrollees cost-sharing liabilities for calendar year 2011 and would limit coverage to 50 percent of the next $4,725 in Medicare cost sharing that the beneficiary incurred. (Because all further cost sharing would be covered by TFL, enrollees could not pay more than $2,888 in cost sharing in that year.)

Congress plans to block Tricare fee increases
http://www.armytimes.com/news/2009/10/military_tricarefees_blocked_100709w
By Rick Maze - Staff writer, Oct 7, 2009
Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.
Snip
The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.
Snip
Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.
President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees in fiscal 2010, Matz said. We took them at their word, and I cant believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward, he added.
Bambi doesn't keep his promises...so buyer beware.
