Newly-seated Republican Sen. Scott Brown (Mass.) on Monday joined Democrats in voting to end debate on their $15 billion jobs bill.
Brown crossed the aisle after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) nixed an $85 billion, bipartisan plan in favor of a more narrowly-focused bill.

“This is not Ted Kennedy’s seat, not the Democrats seat..” but I will vote as if it were.
What is this guy’s email address?
Because said people are politically unrealistic in the extreme.
Where are those CPAC dopes that were touting this guy as the next one who should run for President in 2012? LMAO
NOT ONE CENT TO THE RNC!
That's a very good point.
I thought the exact same thing!! Did you get a nice thank you letter from Scott Brown last week? Glad I shredded it. Hey, I lived in MA and now live in NY so I am well aware of RINO’s but this is stunning. What a crock. I feel sucker punched.
Let him change his party affiliation to Independent like Lieberman did. If you vote for a Rat bill that Republicans weren't allowed to offer amendments to, then you are a Rat.
Sen. Ben Cardin (D., Md.) said all four of the bill’s components have individually been backed by Republicans and therefore there is no reason by the party’s lawmakers not to support the legislation.
Mr. Cardin said the bill would save or create 1.3 million jobs, which would be a much-needed shot in the arm to the moribund employment picture.
15 Billion for 1.3 million jobs? I think that is a much better deal than Obama’s 787 billion for 2 million jobs? LOL, anyone who believes these quacks needs their head examined.
To those who could not wait to make him President, you are stupid.
Funny...I don’t seem to recall him having an (I) next to his name on the ballot. But then again, he didn’t mention being a Republican once in his acceptance speech.
I wonder if a lower mileage and more luxury fleet of pick-up trucks is in the Brown Family future? Or maybe his daughter will get a prime time MSM slot? QPQ ....
Ditto.
Wonder how long it will be before he announces his support for the "newly revised" ObamaCare bill. I hope not, but we'll just have to wait and see.
LOL...
I remember just a few weeks ago being told how conservative he was and that he was downright “presidential.”
What are the odds that he will find Zero’s “revised” death care bill acceptable?
The man ran on a platform to help create jobs, so even though I disagree with him on this bill, I fully understand him voting for a jobs bill.
Before we get to depressed let’s step back and recognize that this is Massachusetts...and not one of the great states like Oklahoma, Alabama or Idaho.
Scott Brown will hopefully vote with us at least 65% of the time...but be prepared for him to vote with the dems the other 35%. This is still a whole lot better than what we’ve seen out of Massachusetts in the last 50 years!
Well, he will have a short shelf life.
He is vastly better than the democrat who would otherwise be sitting there.
He was NEVER a contender for the GOP presidential primary.
