A year ago we saw this coming in Oregon.
Someone wisely pointed out that since the GOP wasn't really using its party in Oregon, they wouldn't mind if we borrowed it.

Its easier to capture the GOP from the inside than to build a 3rd party particularly in Blue states.

WHO APPOINTS THE CHAIR OF THE RNC? HOW DOES THE PARTY SELECT THE PLANKS OF ITS PLATFORM? AND JUST HOW COULD THE TEA PARTY FILL THE SLOTS NECESSARY TO AFFECT REFORM IN THE PARTY?
