I'm not a lawyer, but under Title 19, Chaper 11, section 201 (Bribery of Public Officials and Witnesses), offering a job in exchange for dropping out of a race would be bribery, assuming that deciding not to run for an office would be considered an "official act". Offering a bribe, even if it is not accepted, is a crime.

(b) Whoever—

(1) directly or indirectly, corruptly gives, offers or promises anything of value to any public official or person who has been selected to be a public official, or offers or promises any public official or any person who has been selected to be a public official to give anything of value to any other person or entity, with intent—

(A) to influence any official act;

And since all Impeachments must begin in The House of Representatives, it means Pelosi must cooperate...not much chance of that. Maybe we shoudl impeach Pelosi first, then Obama, and as for Reid, he already has started Alzheimers and will not be reelected...2010 is shaping up to be a better year, if we boot the buzzheads out.
