You used to have to show your gun, but people wanted to be able to keep a gun in purse or glove compartment, so when they passed the law that you can conceal a gun, they somehow lost the right to show your gun. You used to see pick up trucks with rifle in back window clearly visible.

The only way that I have found any logic in the anti-gun, anti-freedom types is to assume that they want to ban guns altogether. If you assume this, nearly all of their agenda makes sense.
