Chris Matthews is beginning to realize that Barack Obama can't change things with just the power of his personality.
Such was amazingly discussed during the syndicated talk show bearing his name this weekend as two White House correspondents made some astonishing claims about the current resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
"He feels that he has some ability to bring people together," noted NBC's Savannah Guthrie.
Helene Cooper of the New York Times agreed, "There's this fundamental belief that he can change, that the power of his personality and the power of his oratory can change people... But you can't just do it with the power of your personality."
A seemingly stunned Matthews replied, "Well, we're learning that."

The real test will be his Executive Actions, it appears to be the more he starts pushing the boundary the more resistance he gets, like a force field bubble, when he does nothing, says nothing America starts a healing process.

Not all of us are meant to be persuaded by the delivery or the style of the message. Some of us will be persuaded once the message is changed. Obama doesn’t get it, and neither do the Liberals who think of him as some wizard.
That is like saying “Oh Obama can give a speech telling people to murder bankers and they will do it”. Well I will not, no matter how much charisma that person has.
Unfortunately so many people are easily manipulated. The same kinds of people probably fell for Hitler in Germany.
