Gov. Charlie Crist and other governors were at the White House this evening for a dinner. The following is a press "pool" report:
Governors and first spouses from around the country were in black-tie attire in the State Dining Room. Gov. Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota was seated to the right of FLOTUS (First Lady Michelle Obama).
In the back row: Gov. Charlie Crist of Florida well beyond hugging range at Table 3 with Govs. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana and Mike Beebe of Arkansas, and Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of Calif. sat beside Wisconsin Gov Jim Doyle, with Interior Sect. Salazar two seats to Arnolds right, and the two governors clicked glasses at the toasts.
Obama opened with a joke: This is not too stiff of an affair, because last year, Ed Rendell led a conga line. We still have photographs that we may use."
The menu:
French Onion Soup with Croutons Rib Eye Roast with Shrimp Scampi Roasted Potatoes, Carrots and Mushroom Caps Seven Layer Salad Baked Alaska
Wines offered:
Sugarleaf Vineyards Petit Manseng 2008
Landmark Vineyards Syrah Steel Plow 2006
Fenn Valley 42 Ice Wine 2008
“Lot of yellow undertone in the skin. Wonder if he has Hep C.”
He’s not sick it’s just that he’s a mixed race person with yellow skin tones. Obama does not really fall into the category of “high yellow” (think Mariah Carey or Jennifer Beals), he falls somewhere after that.
Excerpted from Wikipedia entry linked below-
“In her 1942 Glossary of Harlem Slang, Zora Neale Hurston placed “high yaller” at the beginning of the entry for colorscale, which ran:
“high yaller, yaller, high brown, vaseline brown, seal brown, low brown, dark brown”

Crist can kiss off.
I will never again hold my nose and vote for a RINO pos.
Conservatives or go fish.
GO Rubio.
"To our end of natural born citizen Presidents".
“I wonder how the Baked Alaska snuck its way on to the menu. Id think someone would put the kibosh on that one.”
I thought it was subtle jab at Sarah Palin
I’m familiar with that (not the whole color scale, though!) but that photo at the top looked different. Maybe just different lighting?
