But .. the general didn’t think it was important to lay off of Bush .. while he was betraying him, and while the general knew it was his own staff member who had leaked the information.
I never trusted the general, and I was unhappy when Bush appointed him. I remember how he bristled at Cheney during Desert Storm.
He just wants us to shut up because it’s a constant reminder that he voted for a black man who’s a joke of a president, and now he’s feeling guilty about it and he’s tired of being reminded.
And this from a guy who said, more or less, ‘well, I really don’t support him but I can’t not be a part of supporting this historic ballot.’
He really said that, or words to that effect.
