if he means liberal republicans....say liberal republicans

You've got a point there... to a degree.

But the problem isn't just "liberal Republicans".

The problem is STUPID Republicans. Republicans who cave at the last minute just to appear BIPARTISAN so that the media will "like" them (which they never do) and so that they will be FRIENDS with everyone on "the hill".

I know ohioWfan will hate me for saying this but W was at least sometimes in that category. He did some very, very stupid things the motivation for which was completely beyond me and which I can only attribute to that horrible and hateful urge to be BIPARTISAN.

And if you think only "liberal Republicans" suffer from the BIPARTISAN disease, you are mistaken.

The only politicians who are absolutely free of the plague of "bipartisanship" are the democrats.

In that sense we should be more like them.

I don't necessarily disagree, but I think that Beck's delivery essentially throws the baby out with the bathwater. And I think that may be intentional since he's kind of dramatic and all.

I question whether this speech is really for Beck's benefit than the GOP. "Look at me!" That kind of thing.
