The party of No! We have to take this statement head on. The media and the left use this absurd finger pointing remark to deflect what is actually happening, the right ends up defending itself and the subject is therefore changed. When we allow them to so easily divert attention they never have to answer for the take over of business, banks, heath care, lemonade stands, etc. In essence, the destroying of America. As usual Americans are caught in the confusion of endless debate.

Most of us would think that when we are attacked from within that all of us would unite and crush any such actions. But what we see is a daily onslaught of so called reasonable, educated people who defend everything that the attacking entity is doing. From Powell, who still defends his choice of Obama, with total blindness to the fact that his lifetime of service is everything opposite of this administration. Pastors, businessmen and even Republicans say he hasn't had enough time for a fair judgment. We have seen the damage of just one year, are we to spend the next three debating our destruction?

Many of us say they must be stopped or our Nation will forever be altered, in a very negative way. How far will they go? How far do we go to stop the destruction? I don't know. I hope a path presents itself soon.

>>>>>Most FR people backed McClintock

Not so sure about that. IIRC, Jim didn't take any polls back then. I do know I backed McClintock. The "Harpy" contingent were very vocal in their support for Arnold. As you must know, in 2003, the Harpy's, aka. the Bushies, ruled the forum and any opposition was quickly dealt with and flamed down. While there was support for McClintock, it didn't match the intensity for Arnold. Frankly, the ArnoldBots ran roughshod over the vocal opposition to his candidacy. Not unlike what recently transpired with another liberal Republican by the name of, Scott Brown.

Arnold is down to the low 20 approval rating. He would have a tough time being elected dog-catcher nowadays.

Stimulus is working for California, indeed. Patooey!

Schwarzenegger: Tea Party 'Not Going To Go Anywhere'

I know one place where the Tea Party is going. It's going to our local monthly Republican Party Executive committee meeting.

If it were not for the liberal Scott Brown, we would have Obamacare now. Yes or no.

While I disagree with what Arnold said, as someone who was there in Kalifornia during the recall let's not forget that his Demoncrat opponent was going to allow illegal immigrants to get California driver's licenses, among other insanities. No matter how bad Arnold has been, the alternative would have been infinitely worse.

What Arnold really is an old school democrat; patriotic, but having ideas that conservatives generally don't agree with. Since the Pelosi/Reid takeover of the Demoncratic Party only radical leftist idiots are welcome there.

Though I cannot say it on this forum, my response to him is his own line from the original Terminator movie.

If I am not mistaken, the other choices were:

  1. Yes.
  2. No.
  3. Or what?
  4. Go away.
  5. ____ you.

... and then the one you chose. LOL!

MORAN: Governor Schwarzenegger, is the Republican Party, your party, the party of no right now?

SCHWARZENEGGER: Well, you know, they have the big opposite position. I mean, because first when it come to the party itself, they have to do everything they can in order to win in November. So they're going to say no to everything, they're going to say it is not good but Obama is --

"They" Arnold...Not "we"?

Tea Party 'Not Going To Go Anywhere'
So says Maria I'm sure.

I hope you're right Arnold but I think you meant 'not going to GET anywhere'.

When his term as governor is up, Arnold figures he’ll be spending considerably more time with Maria ... figures he’d better start “sucking up” now to make his future life bearable.

I note with great satisfaction, and Schnitzelwagger should also note, that he didn’t appear, nor was he invited, to speak at the CPAC conference.

So, it seems more likely that Gov. Steroids will be going nowhere.

Which is as it should be.

Scott Brown just got to WashDC. Give him time. I know who Scott Brown is. You don't. Hopefully, you will learn.

To 24 - Correct. The Californians for Arnold insisted that McClintock could never get elected. The majority, (of Califs), on this site, supported Schwarzenegger.

" the 2003 CA recall was a bell weather, the fork in the road on the way the party needed to go...and R-Null was the worst fork we ever had

Recall the history, behind the recall. In 2002 there was a conservative candidate named Bill SImon, who was sabotaged by his political handlers, in what was called one of the worst-run political campaigns ever. The 2003 recall was necessary because of the botched 2002 effort.

Who's now in charge of the "Tea Party Express"? Sal Russo. Same guy that took millions of dollars and sabotaged his own guy. Not until we run the paid political hacks out of the process, will the Tea Party represent the true grass roots who sacrifice for it.
