They never get to see those cute critters viciously shred other animals for simple sport.

As for Sea Shepherd, they are little more than petty thugs with ships.
Think of ELF or Earth First on the open ocean, and about as smart.

You don't want to go there with me. I work in healthcare and I am willing to bet you never see what I do in an average week, like 2yo kids dying of cancer, etc.

So take that argument elsewhere.

I agree with you that Sea Shepherd is a goofy group. In fact I read a book the leader wrote once and was pretty put-off by it.
Nonetheless I will support them in stopping the killing of whales, particularly in the ways it is done.
