This section is relevant because it establishes the fact that Nationality was determined by the FATHER of a child unless born out of wedlock, when only then does Mom’s Nationality confer citizenship! This means Obama was born under the Jurisdiction of his father’s Nation, Britain, regardless of where he was born.

CHILDREN BORN OUT OF WEDLOCK
SEC. 309 . (a) The provisions of paragraphs (3), (4), (5), and (7)
of section 301 (a), and of paragraph (2) of section 308, of this title
shall apply as of the date of birth to a child born out of wedlock on
or after the effective date of this Act, if the paternity of such child is
established while such child is under the age of twenty-one years by
legitimation .
(b) Except as otherwise provided in section 405, the provisions of
section 301 (a) (7) shall apply to a child born out of wedlock on or
after January 13, 1941, and prior to the effective date of this Act, as of
the date of birth, if the paternity of such child is established before
or after the effective date of this Act and While such child is under
the age of twenty-one years by legitimation .
(c) Notwithstanding the provision of subsection (a) of this section,
a person born, on or after the effective date of this Act, outside the

United States and out of wedlock shall be held to have acquired at
birth the nationality status of his mother, if the mother had the nationality
of the United States at the time of such person’s birth, and
if the another had previously been physically present in the United

Obama was born under the jurisdiction of Great Britain.

At the very least that meant that he was born with two citizenships. Certainly a Citizen of the US, but also of Britain. Thus, he could NOT be a Natural Born Citizen because he was born a child of two Nations. The fact he has an American Mother and was born in Hawaii (if that is indeed the case) has nearly the same weight as his father being British. He could claim EITHER citizenship, and therefore -by definition- is of divided loyalties, and that is why only a person born with the SOLE citizenship of the USA is considered a Natural Born Citizen. It confers the singular status, indeed the right, to run for POTUS. Otherwise, you don’t have the right to run. Like it or not, that’s how the founders set it up.
