Ron Paul is not my cup of tea, but he is the one guy in Congress whose votes consistently reflect the proper constitutional limits on the power of the Federal government. And this is the first guy the Tea Party movement goes after? How about they go after free-speech busting McCain? Or how about one of those Northeast RINOs like Olympia Snowe? Unbelievable how frigging stupid some people are. Talk about shooting your own foot.

Did you read the article?

He has three challengers, none with any campaign funds.

He’s agreed to a debate with them on Saturday, IIRC.

I rather doubt this is any true reflection of the Tea Party Movement; looks like some minor candidates trying to get some attention by attaching themselves to a movement that is very decentralized.

The chance of one of these guys with their thousands of dollars taking out Paul seems to be somewhere between slim and none.

I'd love to see both of them taken out, along with Susan Collins, Lindsey Graham and a bunch of others.
