The Texas congressman who rattled the GOP establishment with his libertarian-leaning outsider run for president has suddenly found himself the target of the anti-incumbent Tea Party movement some credit him with helping inspire.

Yes, it'll be interesting to see what Pennsylvania does now. They've got the perfect opportunity to turn things around.
I'm sure a lot of us non-PA FReepers will be valiantly rooting for Toomey from the sidelines.

Incidentally, RP has an army of Stormfronter support too. He is their hero because they perceive him as anti-Israel.

Exactly...he might earn my respect, at least.

I see my hands' True Life Trivia Low Volume Ping List On? Off? Private Reply Please Per popular demand I've registered at Cabelas but, again, really not necessary. It seems TPTB here at FR have given me a Profile page with carte blanche as to its use. I didnt even ask for it! Which, BTW, leads me to believe a couple little birdies on this ping list have been cheeping again, lol! Anyhow, solid thanks to FR for the gesture and if youd like to check it out just click here or apparently you can click on my screen name at the bottom of my posts as well. Nice perks for boy from the streets. "if we merge his platform planks we could all legally screw prostitutes at every 7-11" In the 70's supermarkets closed for the night. Then I earned money washing and waxing supermarket floors. One man job, took only a few hours to make the floors shine real good. But the way it worked was I waited in the store until the morning crew arrived. My appetites were satisfied. Yet, I still despise Paul.

Specter is nothing but a back-stabber and he’s always been all about himself. I so want him to suffer a humiliating defeat. It’s past time for the old b#stard to be retired anyway. I hope PA voters finally give him the boot.

The Tea Party movement really does turn off moderates and independents. So why are Democrats trying to destroy it? Why is the liberal media attacking it 24/7?

Those guys pictured are the allies of you, Code Pink, and all of the other freaks who oppose all U.S. intervention abroad. And why does your FR page call Reagan ‘one of the most clueless Presidents’?
To: MestaMachine
Thanks. Actually, I'm home right now, but headed back over pretty soon.
I feel like I've been over there for freakin' ever. ;-)

He's blinded by the (science) of libertarianism (meant to be a play off "she blinded me with science")...
Economic libertarianism is a wonderful thing because free market capitalism creates wealth. But political libertarianism starts to look like anarchy. We unquestionably need dramatically less government. Ron Paul brings that to the table. But its hard to get around some of his goofy ideas, like Americas to blame for 911 and theres no war on terrorists. Well, the Islamofacist have certainly declared their jihad on us!
Ron, get your head out of the sand.
Why is a Ronald Reagan type so hard to come by?

My take on Ron Paul on post 99.
Why can't we find an economic libertarian (among other things, abolish the IRS in favor of a 10% sales tax) and a Christian Constitutional Conservative? Isn't that what Ronald Reagan was? Seems like that's what our country was all about before the 20th century idiots screwed it up.
We need a spiritual revival and a gut-level housecleaning.
