There is a continual effort by those of Michael Steele’s ilk to redefine core Republicanism as just less regulation and taxes at home with military interventionism abroad.

The basic neocon package.

You are correct. Guys like Steele think if the GOP can just get along, not be too controversial, don't take on tough positions, stay away from those 40% issues (the ones that are often-times split 40/40/20), and appear to be moderate on most issues, everything will be just fine.

It ought to be recognized that campaigns taking those non-positions ultimately end up with 38% or 42% of the vote. No base, no excitement or passion, no courage of convictions, no values, no morality, nothing. Losers deserve to be losers and those who have no courage don't deserve to prevail.

This country needs a counterbalance to Obama. That means taking positions that are in direct opposition to him and his Democraps in Congress. It's more than a loyal opposition, we need a CONFRONTATION on these critically important issues.

After all it is our lives, and our children's future, and our very country that is at stake. Out with Obama, out with Pelosi, out with a complacent GOP. Vote them all out and bring on a revolution at the next ballot opportunity.

There's nothing wrong with that package. The issue remains ~ should homosexuals and their enablers be BANNED from being part of the leadership elite of the Republican party?

I believe it's a necessity if we are to get enough votes to control the legislative bodies in this country so that WE set the legislative agenda and the Democrats are left to get drunk and mess around.

Once you control the legislative agenda you can move on to more important issues ~ e.g. finding a cure for homosexuality, development of palliative care drugs for people suffering from Liberal delusions, permanent employment for the unemployed, higher savings rates, even lower taxes, rolling back regulation to 1790, fixing the Supreme Court, annexing Canada (at least the good parts), and getting rid of Fidel Castro.

Just keep in mind that history shows that when Republican homosexuals act out we lose votes. No one cares what the Democrats do ~ they're just a bunch of trashy people anyway.

Social Security and tort reform are going nowhere as long as the public votes the way it does, so let's figure this out ~ no homosexual acting out among Republicans obviously requires no homosexuals in the leadership roles!
