Your post seems to suggest the historical accuracy of this odd vision you have of homosexuals at all points in history running around “nekkid”, and doing that of their own volition, their behavior having nothing to do with those
in their environs whose animosity goaded them into that kind of behavior. Well, first of all, is that just a metaphor? Where or when is it or was it in the civilized world (we’re not talking about ‘nekkid’ primitive tribes,are we?) that the homos parade around ‘nekkid’?

If you don’t understand the concept of ‘the dialectic’ then of course you won’t grasp that one far-out fringe component of one group is ‘acting out’ precisely to provoke what they perceive as the far out fringe component of the other group.
These two groups NEED each other to keep up the polarization, to keep the issue “hot-button”, rather than cool-button, and they want to keep it that way-————
because that way is SIMPLE.And politically useful to both ‘sides’.
Answer me one additional thing-—why, oh why would these obstreperous, dangerous members of GOProud (who I frankly have never heard of before today)want to fight to belong to the GOP, when they would seemingly have a warm welcome and a permanent home in the Democratic Party, who still believes it owns them, just as it’s always beleived it’s owned American Blacks, lock stock and barrel?

For those who are involved in the spiritual aspect of the culture war, the reason becomes manifest. While as in Islam, but less so, there are passive homosexuals who are not actively contending for acceptance of it, yet it is abundantly evident that homosexuals are inordinately given to activism, and insist on not only tolerance but affirmation. Thus is that while constituting perhaps %3 of the population, they, with the help of a overall homosexual-friendly media, have made themselves and their cause extremely manifest in America, and have seen great gains in promoting acceptance and affirmation of homosexuality.
The overall means by which this has been accomplished can easily be seen to have largely followed the stratagems outlines in “After the Ball,” which has succeeded beyond their dreams. And consistently with its means, their insistence of acceptance of homosexuality and its lifestyle drives them to insert themselves into places they do not belong in, from Bible passages to parenting to conservative political groups.
This drive is due to and consistent with the nature of homosexuality, which is that of rebellion against the Creator, who gave us good things and good laws, and made man and women uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them together sexually, only that sanctioning that union in marriage. All sexual relations outside that union is fornication, homosexuality being a most perverse kind.
Their voluminous but species efforts to negate the Biblical condemnation of homosex (which what the Bible always does wherever it is explicitly dealt with), and to construe sanction for it, is part of their rebellion which is driven by the devil, who comes to steal kill and destroy, and the promotion of homosexuality is concomitant with other forms of iniquity that foretell the demise of a nation. (Rm. 1)
If America had attempted to build upon the moral ethos of this foundation it would have soon crumbled. You cannot have liberty without its necessary limits, nor small government without a moral people, who are basically controlled from within and so need little restraint from without. And it was the often subtle but salt-like effect of the evangelical gospel that worked directly and indirectly to effect that, and to inspire and enable the freedom necessary for practical advances by private persons.
As man has misused the good things that God gave him, and broken His good laws, which are to our benefit when obeyed, so man needs a redeemer. And as God is a giving God, so He “spared not His own dear Son, but delivered Him up for us all”, “who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Rm. 8:32; Gal. 2:20). So that all who repent and truly believe are saved from their just punishment in Hell-fire, and death-dealing spiritual separation from God in this life, and are made spiritually alive by His Spirit, and are given eternal life. And unless a widespread revival in America of this faith is realized, it will continue to follow a course contrary to the noble dreams of its founders, and the even higher blessings of God, and instead will realize the end of nations who forget God, and that which some of Americas fathers warned.
