Did you realize homosexuals were parade around nekkid in public even back in Classical times.

They were hardly pushed into that sort of behavior by Conservatives.

I hope that’s not some kind of joke post......
I didn’t live in Classical times, like apparently you did,
but I can tell you that what we think of it, especially “Greek Culture” reflects more what we need to think about our own time, than any actually knowable “facts” about Plato, Socrates, Greek Culture, or whatever. Homosexuality was no more accepted then than it is now. Plato may have written the ancient equivalents of the philosophical ‘framework’ of what NAMBLA now promotes and believes (and I think NAMBLA should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, the moment they step outside theory and into practice), but Plato is also someone who wrote the great line “Love is the desire for birth and generation in beauty”, which suggests that if he were in fact homosexual, he was a homosexual who wanted to celebrate procreation, because that statement more than any
I’ve ever read, describes EXACTLY why people get married and have children. ALSO, the phrase “it was only Platonic”, has come down through the ages to imply NOT sexual, let alone homosexual love, but a personal, non-sexual “simpatico
relationship”. And as for the phrase “parade (sic) around nekkid” in Classical times, once again, I never saw it, but apparently you did.....paraded around naked? paraded themselves around, like in the stupid and completely unnecessary gay pride parades, or were ‘paraded around’ in front of the cowed masses, prior to being stoned or having their heads cut off, like in Saudi Arabia?
Get my point?
