Ryan Sorba booed off CPAC stage for anti-homosexual remarks
Right Pundits ^ | Feb 19, 2010 | Donald Borsch Jr.

Ryan Sorba, from the Young Americans for Freedom organization’s California chapter, was booed off the stage tonight at CPAC, for deriding CPAC’s choice to have GOProud attend CPAC, even going so far as to say he “condemns CPAC”. Not the sort of thing one would say when invited to speak at the biggest gathering of Conservatives who look to CPAC for guidance and networking.

[So the slaveowner had big problems with homosexuality.]

Jefferson advocated a General Plan for freeing ALL slaves...

"I HAVE SWORN UPON THE ALTAR OF GOD ETERNAL HOSTILITY TO EVERY FORM OF TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN"
--Thomas Jefferson

Regarding homosexuality - evidently Jefferson was astute enough to recognize the destructiveness of the ABOMINATION of nature and thus proposed to nip that particular "TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN" in the bud.

And Jefferson wasn't the first to recognize the cause and effect relationship between homosexualism and societal implosion:
Rom 1:24-32
25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator — who is forever praised. Amen.

26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
NIV

GOProud members (pun intended) know what the GOP and conservatives stand for. That is not a mystery to them. If they are going to silence anyone who stands for traditional marriage, they should go and join the freedom hating Democrats.

Nice pun...:-)

As to the rest of your post, A-M-E-N.

The more troubling observation here is not that this queer syndicate is trying to gain a political foothold in the GOP, but that the GOP welcomes this virus, an infestation that can only result in NO GOOD.

So the slaveowner had big problems with homosexuality. If that don’t beat all.

That is one of the dumbest comments about Thomas Jefferson I have ever heard.

No, I take that back,

It is undoubtedly THE dumbest comment I have ever heard about Thomas Jefferson.

You have only been here four months, but you should know that stunning displays of ignorance don't get you far here.

Just as the moral imperative of self defense extends from the individual to the family to the nation, so then does the moral imperative of cultural defense against a known evil.

The Roman Empire tolerated and encouraged all sorts of deviant behavior, while the Germans, according to Tacitus, bound sodomites hand and foot and threw them in a bog.

Now let's see, was it the Romans who invaded and overthrew the Germans, or was it the other way around? Do you really reap what you sow?

...[GOProud members] reveal themselves for what they really are--subversive agents for splitting apart the GOP and conservatives...

YES. And recognizing this is the first step to not taking the bait. On a political level, it's like if a perp starts trying to instigate a fight between the cops who are staring him down - the cops need to understand the tactic, shelve their differences, stick together, and take down the perp. ALL conservatives can reject the due-process-raping special rights and the massively disproportionate, highly sexualized early-childhood education gay agendas in the name of Constitutional violations. Marriage and put back into the Churches where it belongs, and the government can be restricted to recording civil union contracts and Constitutionally denied ANY authority in religious, spiritual or loving matters. And Military Law can once again be authorized to make ANY restrictions it needs to protect warfighter morale, under the recognition that - by definition - it's failure in this area could mean the enemy destruction of the entire country.

BUT - the Constitution MUST be the conservative focus, weapon, method and goal, because ALL of the problems from the Left come from it's endless efforts against the Constitution! Ultimately, all of the fighting about religion and society and sexuality only boil down to one thing - whether, at any given time, these arguments can be used to pervert the Constitution. The Constitution is THE battleground with the Left, and government-restraining Negative Rights are THE Constitutional treasure given to us for safekeeping by God and the Founders. We MUST NOT lose our focus on protecting what the enemy wants so dearly to destroy!

At times, I wonder what will fracture the FR base. I think it is the social conservatives versus the fiscal/government conservative canyon that will lead to our own Civil War. I was pointed to FR by a libertarian friend, yet I see social conservatism taking over this site. I’ll judge what I want to judge, but I don’t think that government has any business telling people what to do in their personal lives, so long as they are consenting and of age. It’s up to my own opinion at that point to decide who I want to associate with, and who I will introduce to my family.

Well, his account isn’t banned yet, but you know what’s funny? After he made so many pro-homo remarks, I looked at his home page. On there, he says “Limbaugh is to liberal for me” and yes, he spelled “too” wrong. The only thing missing is the “I’m a lifelong Republican, but...”

Your point escapes me.

Just quoting a very wise man regarding those (on the Left or Right) who want to impose their particular version of The Truth on the rest of us vs. those who simply want to be left alone.

Blasphemous.

Of all the strange "crimes" that human beings have legislated out of nothing, "blasphemy"is the most amazing — with "obscenity" and "indecent exposure" fighting it out for second and third place. ---Robert A. Heinlein

Anyone who wants to teach fisting to kindergartens deserves a bullet to the brain

So does anyone who supports and defends those that want to.

Jefferson was gay? Jefferson supported sodomy?

I read where Thomas Jefferson thought homosexuals should be punished. He was no supporter of "gay rights."

Oh yes.... Good for Sorba for standing up to this farce. Since when do practitioners of a deadly perversion get such representation at a Conservative function, no less?

>>If the government wasn’t involved in private health care,

Government involvement in private health care has nothing to do with homosexual activists gaining spousal benefits within many corporations.

Furthermore, homosexual activism is directly responsible for thousands of their dysfunctional kind now receiving spousal benefits as state and federal government employees.

Nepotism is homosexual activism’s bread and butter. How do you think Disney became infested with them?

If you think they will shrink government you are a fool. The only thing they will do with government is seek to fill it with their own fascist collective worshiping kind.

When using the term “cultural defense,” I am referring to defending moral absolutes, as understood in the Christian sense of the expression.

The concept of the moral code finds its genesis in the Natural Law (God’s Law, from which all just and positive law derives) The moral code is transcendent, not relative. It exists outside the social order, whether or not it is recognized by the constituents of that compact. The moral code is imprinted on man’s heart by his Creator, specifically God, even while man may deny God’s law, he cannot escape it’s jurisdiction over him.

History is replete with the consequences of man’s folly — some direct cause, some accidental. Even if we fail to see the connections, and so some cause-effect relationship is hidden from us, yet such obscurity does not diminish God’s knowledge of our secrets.

Neither is God obliged to grant us understanding of His ways... What may seem an injustice to our minds, may, in the greater scheme of those things which are of infinite design, be for some greater good. It is not for us to question. All will be revealed in God’s own time, not ours.
