Really, a supposedly American agency has no business bowing down to international “science gods.”
Reason Magazine has a really interesting article in the March edition (which isn’t on line yet unfortunately). The EPA has belatedly realized how impossible it will be to manage every business that emits carbon at the level the laws mandate. Currently, the law requires the EPA to act if emissions exceed 250 tons per year of a dangerous substance. Unilaterally they decided to change that to 15,000 to 25,000 tons. But the law says what it says, & you can bet that environmental groups will be after them in court to stick with the lower level.
Congress will be forced to act, & I can’t see that happening unless there’s a dramatic change in the House & Senate this year.
Ken Cuccinelli is a true American Patriot and we are lucky to have him as AG in the Commonwealth!
