I’d almost bet money that Romney is the GOP candidate in 2012. Too bad, he’s liberal rino through and through.

But, if the Massachusetts Senate race taught the GOP anything, it taught them that moderate and liberal independents will break for a liberal Rino.

Therefore, the rino GOP calculus says that a Rino candidate wouldn’t need the GOP’s conservative base.

They won't break for the Rino if one or both houses of the congress are in Pub hands. The libs will go for bambi and the independents will. Romney might be a capable mgr, but he's not a visionary.

Lets hope you're wrong. It's still early.
