I'm not demoralized but my eyes are wide open. :) The forces arrayed against conservatives and particularly against Sarah Palin are huge.
The difference is that Palin’s conservative supporters feel passionately about her and once you are a Palin supporter you are not going anywhere else. We will live or die with Palin in the GOP primaries. Other than Reagan no other conservative but Palin brings that type of zeal and commitment out of her supporters.

I can't wait until the next fund raising letter from the RNC arrives. They will get monopoly money from me with a note that reads, "You will never get the real stuff or my vote again unless a true conservative (such as Palin) gets the nomination. Me and millions of others will stay home if RINO is nominated. No more holding my nose while voting!"
