What a minute. She couldn’t collect enough signatures but this other guy did? I thought there was a tight deadline.
If no one meets the deadline with enough signatures, than the state party chooses a candidate.
Oh, thanks. Weird. In most states if no one collects signatures then no one is on the ballot.

this FRIDAY business keeps coming up. Perhaps signatures were due on TUES, with paperwork due on FRIDAY?
DEMS have until June 30 to decide on their SENATE nominee. 32-man state central committee.
My thoughts exactly. Ellsworth showed his stripes the last year with his stimulus & healthcare votes.
