Most Republicans may be useless, but these Democrats are far worse than useless.
It’s one thing to use a controversial procedure to defeat the Republicans; it’s another to use it against the current will of the people. If Pelosi, Reid and Bambi do this, the Republicans should walk out. The Dems want it, they OWN it, and we will own them in the election.
I think at this point the dems realize the bill is unpopular, wildly so. They know they are going to lose in the coming election anyway so they have nothing to lose by voting for it as they are going out the door anyway.
The GOP on the other hand should keep their hands off this POS. The Ass hat has a simple plan, here is my plan which is a starting point, so, we can go from here toward anything you want sans changing any of this language. You want cross borders, fine. You want tort reform, no. So we have now compromised and this is a non partisan bill.
Oh, no “let them eat cake” moment either because we are going to tax sugar products.
