"Rants against Catholics"

Yes. There was one line where he ranted against "institutions like the vulgar, corrupt Catholic church", as part of his justification for his first run in with the IRS.

OK. I’ll laugh. BTW, my two cents worth on his political leanings:

I think he was a libertarian.

1.Anti government, apparently to the extreme.
2.Overly concerned with his own money.
3. Played bass guitar in a band so dude had to be dancing with Mary Jane if you get my drift. (Plus major munchie thing going on with the Ritz crackers)
4. He had an airplane. (Conservatives have pick up trucks or other 4WD type vehicles)
5.Apparently tried some sort of “I’m a Church” tax dodge, which is a surefire libertarian tell.
6.Plus, a 6 page manifesto. Libertarians love to go on and on and on. (see John Galt’s speech)
7. Narcissistic. Dude didn’t care if he hurt other people.
8. He had long hair.
9. He was into computers. Libertarians prefer solitary pursuits like that where they don’t have to put up with other people.
10. He lived in libertarian type do-your-own-thing communities like California and Austin.

So, my vote is definitely Libertarian.

parsy, FWIW

I think this guy is more OJ Simpson than ideologue. But I read his manifesto, and if anyone wants to assert ideology, I can point to more leftishness than rightishness.

Earlier today before anyone learned anything about his background, Rush Limbaugh speculated, tongue in cheek, that he was probably a professor who was denied tenure.

You’d think if Stack was a Palin fan he would have wanted to wait and see if she got elected President.

This is just your average suicidal nut with a dozen screws loose.

I keep wondering about this fella...

He hated capitalism because he thought he wasn’t getting enough and it was going to the rich and big business.

If the US were communist, what did he think he would get with that?

The home he had, the airplane, the piano, his own business...it all screams capitalist to me.

The guy seemed a walking contradiction.

Just askin...

It doesn’t really matter what party they say he belonged to. The truth is that he was a whiner, a hater and most of all a big time loser. What does that tell you?

Does anyone want to give the keys to a plane to Chris and see what happens???

I’d like to do that on January 20th, 2013 at 12:01pm...Just to see if he’d at least crawl up into one and try to start ‘er up...

I could not find any voting history, so either someone removed it or he wasn’t even registered to vote.
