that didn’t take long...
The Washington Post joins the NY Times and Time :
WaPo’s Capehart: Austin Suicide Pilot’s ‘Alienation Similar To Extreme Elements of Tea Party Movement’
But it isn’t going to stick. The guy was nut who fled California but found Austin too conservative, which just proves how nutty he was. He was a liberal who was ready to kill his own family, who hated George Bush, and who hated the Catholic Church. In fact he was a typical liberal in that he hated almost everything, and in the end I guess he even hated himself.
Wait until those in the movement come to the conclusion that ending their own lives in frustration helps nothing and some of them begin looking elsewhere. Then they/we will all be labled with the ilk of Timothy McVeigh.
It will be up to the real grass roots folks who have "had enough" to stay the course and use the Constitutional tools we have to really affect change in this "once great Republic"! And it won't be accomplished by trying to "make a name" or a "statement" about yourself.
The Democrats and Republicans better pay more attention to the quiet ones out here!
