Not among the Essenes. Judaism wasn't monolithic at the time. There were many different sects with different beliefs and ways of life.

Jesus was thought by many histoians to be an Ebonite or Nazorite, which would’ve meant marriage, and Essenes did marry. A single rabbi, prophet or messiah would’ve been an impossibility in first century Judaism, as I understand it.
