I think the only cities that would have them shedding tears would be Cambridge, Madison, Seattle, San Francisco and Portland.

Yes, but those would be crocodile tears: Liberals and trust funds are intertwined (especially those with more than one trust fund). Without those funds, they'd actually have to work. Besides many of them - in the Seattle and Portland areas - live outside of the cities. Cities are just places for meetings and entertainment. Then it is back to their 20,000 sq ft old growth log cabins in the heart of their 100 acre forested estates.
