I had to do some digging to get the 8am time. I'm hoping THAT was correct information.

But it makes more sense than the 9:30 report, which..as discussed here.. would have make it impossible for him to have taken off at 9:40.

Good that you ‘dug’. She did say 9:30am but the time frame just wasn’t possible unless he lived right by the airport - and he didn’t.
