Talk about “reaching out.”
President-elect Barack Obama held an unannounced dinner Tuesday night at the $19 million home of conservative columnist George Will, according to a pool report.
Two other conservative columnists — William Kristol and the New York Times’ David Brooks — also were spotted there, the report said.
How the hell does a columnist like Will afford a 19 million dollar home? I think Bill Gates’ home only cost something like 23 million.
Why do modern journalists think it is so important to put the value of someone’s home in the story? I see it done more and more and it’s obnoxious.
