Many here were mocking him also.
Whether we like him or not he is entitled to wear his ashes in public.
Shameful talk.
Actually, he’s not entitled to wear ashes—because he’s a notorious, obstinate public sinner. Ashes are a sacramental, signifying participation in repentance for sin. And Biden is obstinately clinging to the sin of supporting the mass murder of babies. He has no right to pose as a practicing Catholic.
Beckel’s comments were just plain bigoted and ignorant.
I can remember when Bob Novak, Mark Shields (a pro-abortion Catholic), Margaret Carlson (a pro-abortion Catholic), and that woman from National Review whose name escapes me, were all on “Capital Gang” together, all of them with ashes.
All depends on whether they were applied by his priest or his makeup artist.
Jesus said, "When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets that they may be seen of men. Truly I say to you, They have their reward. But you, when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father which is in secret; and your Father which sees in secret shall reward you openly" (Matthew 6:5-6).
Absolutely. He is entitled to wear his ashes as are the rest of us Christians. Maybe beckle should make fun on TV of others and see how far he gets.
