Did you ever think, that if it weren’t for Bush, there’d be no Obama?

And, before you go labeling me a “Bush hater,” know that I voted twice for both his “Read My Lips” old man as well as “Mission Accomplished” (it wasn’t that I really had a choice, though, considering who was on the Democratic side).

I don’t care much for New England political family dynasties, W-fan. I don’t care if they are named “Kennedy,” or “Bush,” or even “Adams” for that matter.

I look on political office as a calling rather than a privilege because of a good family name and a silver spoon to go along with it. It seems to me that we’ve had some pretty good leaders with names such as Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Jackson, Polk, Lincoln et al were singular rather than plurals when it came to the presidency and other political offices in the country.

So, sorry I don’t hold the same esteemed view that you do for George and his brother, Jeb. But that doesn’t make me any less of a conservative-leaning voter than you!

Actually, I think about it because a few Bush bashers on this forum keep saying it, but it runs counter to all the facts and relies on the emotions of the person making the claim.

There are many historic and factual reasons for Obama's election that I could enumerate here, but let me go deeper for you.

God, according to His word, appoints all the leaders of the nations. Some are righteous (George W. Bush) and some are not (Obama). But God appoints them and uses them for His Glory, regardless. George W. Bush chose to be obedient to God's call and asked God daily for wisdom, and though he didn't do everything according to my political wishes, he did what he thought was right, in prayer, and he did it honorably.

So in your blaming Bush for Obama you are assigning far too much power to a human being, and denying the Sovereignty of God.

Only one more comment on your post. I've got to laugh at your ignorance in bringing up "Mission Accomplished." You really do rely on the MSM for your Bush bashing info, don't you? That sign was for the troops of the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln who were being congratulated by their Commander in Chief for the FACT that they accomplished their mission bravely and quickly. Shame on you for not recognizing that they did what they were commanded to do and did it honorably. Shame on you for not realizing that they were overwhelmed with thanksgiving when their CinC came out to thank them for what they had done.

You can esteem or not esteem George W. and Jeb Bush, but you can't change the fact that they are both admirable men who served their country with honor and integrity.

So if Gore had won and served two terms in office who would of been after him?

Gov Bush didn’t even give any thought for running for the Presidency until the day when Karen Hughes working for him while Gov of TX walked in his Gov office and told him he was leading in the early polls.
