Well if that is his plan he better watch what he says.

accept compromises from time to time to make some progress, because some progress for the American people is better than nothing

Spoken like a true PROGRESSIVE. He even uses the word twice in one sentence.

Agree fully, and if he’s thinking about a presidential run, that’s a good strategy except — it would work best in a crowded field of Dem lefties splitting that part of the vote.

But no lefty is going to oppose Obama as incumbent in 2012, unless things fall apart so badly that he decides not to seek re-election (not likely).
