Abortion is the bottom line for all these leftists. If they can only have one leftist thing, it has to be killing babies. Bill clinton triangulated on everything else, but he was steadfast in his support for abortion—because he understood his base. No compromise on that.

That’s why none of the token “conservatives” who write for the NY Times or the Washington ComPost have been pro-life. Because that’s a point their bosses won’t give an inch on.

Abortion long ago became the focus and sacrament of feminism because it denies both God and man in a single blow, and reveals the barren soullessness of Progressivism, of which feminist ideology is a sociological outgrowth.

There are no happy feminists: a profound self-loathing envelops them; to see it one need only gaze upon the faces of its adherents. One denies one's essential nature at a cruel price, both to one's self and often to others, upon whom emotional conflict, guilt, and self-inflicted wounds are projected in the form of blame.
