On the surface she sounded pretty good Why? She never held public office, she only has run one small business that hired her husband, and her entire claim to fame is suing the RNC to block seating delegates in the State convention because Ron Paul lost.
Her statements with things like immigration have 'evolved' over time to fit the audience she is talking to. She also has shown a major ignorance of Texas law.
A lot of people want her simply because she isn't one of the others and they end up projecting their own beliefs on her.
