How can Medina, who claims to not be a 9/11 Truther, repeat debunked, false truther claims as legitimate? Not only does she repeat it - she claims it. She says it's a question that she still has about 9/11. Medina is a 9/11 Truther. Her claims to the contrary are ridiculous.

Obviously, Glenn Beck set her up. /sarc

I believe this is the third time that week she repeated that claim. There was another interview the same day as Beck as well where she basically said 9/11 truthers were the same as birthers.

She also stupidly asks why no policemen died on 9/11 when firemen did. She said that Friday.

Next she will say all Jews who worked in the towers stayed home on 9/11

Too bad about her 9/11 beliefs. On the surface she sounded pretty good.

Here in Fort Worth/Dallas that is exactly what they are claiming. I heard them on the radio this morning saying Glenn Beck set up Medina.

Everyone is angry at Beck & no-one understands why he would do that considering the other two candidates.

Her first mistake was not saying NO the first time on Beck. Regardless of whether or not it was a ‘hit piece’ interview, a lot of people base there opinions of candidates on their first responses. Her second mistake has been to keep talking about this, she should have released her statement and then stopped talking about it. It’s sad, she has some very strong free market positions. I’m still trying to understand why she went on a nationally televised show (Beck) when she seems very opinionated about keeping this primary ‘within the state’.

She blew it.....

She has become a politician instead of taking a stand. Either that or she is dumb as a bucket of hair.

She definitely made a mistake, but she's right about being setup.

It happened to Perot, Clayton Williams, Buchanan and the rest of the independent voices.

Furthermore, she's correct in saying, there are still questions that need to be answered.....I see that as a very level headed comment.

If anyone on this board can say with all honesty that the government does not lie, manipulate and cover up a whole host of information on a daily basis...is at the very least, naive.

I for one do not trust a thing that comes from the mouth of a bureaucrat or politician.

I'll bet a crisp new fifty dollar bill I can go back to the record and find several things both Perry and Hutchison has mislead or lied to citizens about.

So, why’s everyone so hard on this woman?

Hey genius — when you find yourself in a hole — step 1: stop digging.

>> On Friday, she told reporters she is curious why no New York City police officers died in the towers when so many firefighters did. That’s not true, however, as 60 police officers were killed.

That’s the question?!?! That’s the big connection that makes you think the US Government was involved in 9/11? That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.

Cops typically don’t run into burning buildings. Firemen have these really cool heat-resistant coats, and axes, and helmets and things ... cops have guns, tasers and nightsticks. Still — 60 cops dies (likely from the lower floors of the building.

Logic apparently escapes truthers.

I sure wish I could find the poster a while back who lectured me on my reticence to support a loose cannon like Medina, and something to the effect that hopefully Texans would have sense enough to vote for “the only true conservative.”

And when Ron Paul himself writes a glowing endorsement of Debra Medina…well, just read it.

I would like to introduce you to a good friend of mine, Debra Medina. I have known Debra for over ten years and have always been impressed by her drive and commitment to principle. Debra has been a real defender of Liberty both in her home town of Wharton and across the state of Texas.

Debra has for years been a key supporter and member of my campaign team. As chairman of the Wharton County Republican Party, she has stood up to the big government establishment and fought to hold our party accountable to our platform and our conservative Texas values. Because of her leadership and organizational skills, I asked Debra to serve on the board of directors of my national grassroots action group, Campaign for Liberty, where she has played an important role in our fight to defend our Constitution.

In addition to her political accomplishments, I am proud of Debra for the person she is. Debra Medina is a loving wife, a home school mother of two talented honor students, and a successful business owner. Debra is a true success story and role model for Texans across our state.

I am proud to call Debra Medina a friend, and as a fellow Texan, I encourage you to get to know her. Debra is exploring a run for higher office and would appreciate your input on her effort.
