I'm thinking we'd better start asking ourselves these questions, given the feckless leadership in DC.

I am an amputee and depend on insulin and multiple medications. In short, I am a goner.

Doesn’t the Bible basically say that man lives in a House of Cards without trusting Him? I’ll put my faith in the Lord, and He will provide for all my and my familys’ needs (including Mice On a Stick and Fricasee de PrairieDog {8^D.

If things
really go to hell, the people would fall into an extreme state of barbarity, depravity and ignorance.
Sumpin' like Texas.

There’s another thread that was posted prior to yours...
Not to be the thread police or anything, just wanting all folks interested to get on the same page, so to speak.

Could you or your child sew a button on a coat or mend a sock if clothing became scarce? Could you prepare a meal with flour, milk, eggs and canned meat and/or vegetables.
Uh yeah. Because I was taught to sew when I was about six. And not by my mother but an Uncle who was in WWII and they had to sew on their own unit patches and rank (see Movie Battleground as example) And I could cook something with those ingredients. That my mom did teach me. The same for washing clothes with a 'scrub board'.
If civilization collapses we'll go back to a Tribal Culture. Starting with our neighbors who we can 'trust'. That'll be the first 'Tribes'. Every outsider will be viewed with distrust (Justice won't be pretty either).

Is that because of the TV, of the dinners? The ones from Marie Callender are pretty good, if a bit caloric.
