Virginia legislators claimed victory against the Antichrist and implantable microchips last week by passing a bill that prevents employers or insurance companies from forcing patients to accept the devices.
Del. Mark L. Cole (R-Fredericksburg), the sponsor of the bill, worried that the devices could someday be the "mark of the beast" as described in the Book of Revelation. Cole tries to explain:
"My understanding -- I'm not a theologian -- but there's a prophecy in the Bible that says you'll have to receive a mark, or you can neither buy nor sell things in end times," Cole said. "Some people think these computer chips might be that mark."
Apparently Cole's theology was good enough for the Virginia House of Delegates. The body passed the legislation, even though no one has ever proposed forcibly implanting microchips in humans. Apparently Virginia, with the help of Delegate Cole, outsmarted the Antichrist.
To think such ignorant superstition could command adults in the 21st century is astonishing. Even more disturbing news:
A Harris poll from November ’09 found that 89 percent of evangelical Protestants believe in the Devil, and a ’09 Scripps Howard poll determined that 25 percent of Americans had heard the rumor that Barack Obama is the Antichrist. In September 2009, Public Policy Polling found that 14 percent of New Jersey Republicans thought that Obama was the Antichrist, while 15 percent weren’t sure.
Previously the mark of the beast has been thought to be Social Security Numbers and more recently bar-codes.
Microchips using radio frequency identification have been used in pets to identify and track them. The chips are invaluable in making people's medical records portable and secure. Others have urged they be used with Alzheimer's patients.
Florida-based VeriChip introduced an implant in 2001 that can store medical data. The FDA approved the technology for use in humans in 2004.
Nobody in Oregon is proposing similar legislation.

To be the "Mark of the Beast" -- it also requires worshipping the Beast, the Antichrist. And the problem here (in order for someone to "receive the mark of the Beast") -- you have to know, very explicitly, who the Beast is, and then secondly, you have to receive that mark with the understanding that you're worshipping that Beast... (which is the Antichrist).
Of course, no one knows who that is, and there is no one that is enforcing such a mark on the whole world right now and no one is requiring any "worship of the Beast" as a result of that mark.
This is hype more than anything else. When the "Mark of the Beast" arrives, there will be no "guessing game" involved. There will be no dispute involved. You will know it absolutely and by proclamation and if you don't worship the Beast, you will not be able to buy or sell.
Don't worry about that, no matter what is coming down the pike, until you know who the Beast is and until He say that you must worship him. :-)

Revelation Chapter 14 9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."
This is all part of the *Sign of the Times* Everyone knows Man cannot fix all the world’s problems now which seem to increase day by day, and they don’t know what to do....
They are looking at *Biblical Prophecy* proably to see how bad the world is going to get, in some ways if they can prevent it, and looking to GOD for a bail-out and hopefully they are seeking divine forgiveness and personal salvation....
Obama doesn’t fit the profile of the Antichrist in the Bible...
He may not be what you or I want or think is good and righteous and should not be leading our government — but that’s not the criteria for the Beast, the Antichrist, in the Bible...
My 14 year old daughter just told me that she knows Obama isn’t the antiChrist. I asked her how she knew that. She said, “Well, he’s FAILING!” :)

I went to a Prophecy Seminar Fri and Saturday given by Pastor John Hagee....
I will tell you it was intense about the **Last Days* with a full house (Standing Room Only) in a room with over a 1000 seats, People were truly on *Fire* for the LORD, 50 people gave their life to Christ..
It seems everyone can see that the world is beyond the help of man, they can see and feel the Spirit of the Antichrist in the world......
Hagee speaks of th ANtichrist who will come out of Europe, he spoke of the deception..
The *Satanic Trinity* (Satan wants to imitate everything GOD does)
What Satan will do..
Satan gives the Anti-Christ power and his position as world political ruler.
Matt. 4:8,9. Satan is the prince of the power of the air. Eph. 2:2. He is also, the god of this world. IICor. 4:4.
The Anti-Christ and Satan will be so alike that as they worship the Anti-Christ, they will be worshiping Satan. The Anti-Christ will be Satan incarnate just as Christ is God incarnate. Col. 1:19; 2:9.
The False Prophet will speak, after he has gained power as the religious leader of the world, as a dragon. This means his speech will be authoritative, yet deceiving. Satan knowing that his time is short, will be doing all he can to deceive the people of the world and thereby capture as many for hell as he can.
Anyway’s Hagee spoke of the Rapture of the Church and of course a pre-tribulation rapture, that I cannnot tell you how many people are so looking forward to that day they are *Gone* in a twinkiling of an eye....

Hagge did say it is imporatant for every Christian to continue the good fight (Spiritual Battle) not to lay-down and give-in but to fight to the finish line... *As GOD will say....*Good Servant you did well*
Anyway’s my point is that IMO everyone no matter who they are can see and feel something in the world is happening, if you don’t know GOD and his plan for mankind, people will get wrapped up in deceptions of the Mayan Calendar, Nostradamous, New Age babble Global Warming!...

For quite a while, i really thought O might indeed be the antichrist. He fit most of the Criterion, after all—and he seemed to have some kind of “draw” that was unexplainable. he also set out to do nothing but evil and things to weaken and destroy this country.
No longer. instead....I and others now think Obama is the “WARNING” of the coming Antichrist. A”false alarm” if you have—from God—to let us who DO care about this country know that it IS TIME to stand up, and FIGHT...because...the NEXT guy like Obama will probably be the REAL AC. He will NOT be “mostly bark and little bite” as O is turning out to be. And once he is in power there will NOT be ANY turning back.
Time, for the decent people of this country...either STAND UP....or else..just sit back and “wait for the trains”.

And that's it... there's no more about that silence in Heaven. There are no more verses and there is no more explanation. There is nothing more.
It seems to indicate something very serious, at least it does to me, and that might related to the coming judgements, because the "timing" of this (coming right after the events in Revelation 7) indicate the mid-point of the Tribulation and that's exactly when the Antichrist stands in the holy place, declaring himself to be God.
So, this is the point at which God throws down (so to speak) every last bit of His wrath that He has "saved up" from the beginning (from the time of the Garden of Eden) through the present and to that time.
You see, God has only dispensed a small portion of His wrath, from time to time, saving the rest of His wrath up until now, the last half of the Tribulation. And it is said that after all that wrath of God is done -- that God has no more wrath left -- as all that was saved up, was dispensed during that short period of time.
NOW..., if you think about all that wrath that God has saved up from the beginning of mankind -- just about to be dispensed, at the point of that seventh seal -- then that might get a pause and silence for about 1/2 an hour in Heaven ... doncha know... :-)
BUT -- having said that, it's pure speculation (i.e., it's not in the Bible) that the people in Heaven will see what is going on. Now, they may, but then again, they may not. The Bible isn't saying...
And yes, I have heard a few others say that, but they are speculating. And it's okay to speculate, if you want to -- as long as you make it clear that you are... :-)
My speculation is that we don't have some kind of "viewer" to see directly what is going on -- down on earth, but that people in Heaven will be kept up-to-date on what is going on as it is reported in Heaven and as people there follow the activity of Heaven, and what Jesus, the Messiah of Israel is doing. Past that little bit of speculation of mine, I wouldn't want to speculate very much more on it.
This IS actually a very good idea and I hope it becomes a Federal law. Even atheists (atheists who are freedom-loving, anyway) should be shocked that at certain high-tech companies this has been demonstrated for access control - basically, a pass card that can’t be passed from one person to another in order to enter certain areas of a building, for example. It might become a condition of employment if it isn’t stopped now.

Hagee might of just been tying to speculate as well, he did not say it was biblical now that I think of it....
However JMO..if GOD’s final wrath is that time of a half hour I think we will see Satan destroyed on earth....

I didn’t identify the translation, when I put it down, but it was the New King James version. Now, what you supplied was the King James version. And in both cases, they are translations. And, as such, “translations” are not “God-breathed scripture” as the Bible tells us — but — the original autographs in the original language are the inspired Word of God.
So, what we have here, to “question” is concerning the “translation work” and whether it’s a correct translation or not. And I would advise people to remember that going into “translation work” is a different matter than what one would consider for the “authoritative and inerrant and infallible word of God” in the original languages in the original autographs.
That’s an important distinction to make... when going over points like you just raised... :-)

If you listen carefully to a good preacher and he's not trying to get you to believe something that is not in the Word of God, he'll let you know the parts that are authoritative and he'll also say what "he thinks"... and I'm betting he probably said something like "I think we'll be able to see what is going on down on earth..." -- or something to that effect... :-)

It's from that point, after that half hour of silence -- to -- the beginning of the Kingdom on this earth (that the Messiah of Israel sets up by His hand) -- which is the period of time that all of Satan's works are destroyed on this earth. That's another reason for the severity of the Wrath of God, in order to destroy all of Satan's works, so that none of them are left, when the Kingdom is to be established by the Messiah of Israel.
And we see what happens to the Antichrist and the False Prophet and to Satan, himself in Revelation 19 and 20, which goes into the beginning of the Millennial Reign of the Messiah of Israel, and then to the end of that period of time, leading into the Great White Throne Judgement.

I would agree on the personal freedom that you're talking about -- but at the same time -- the Bible makes it clear that there is going to be such a thing and that it's associated with the Antichrist and his one-world government -- and in that government there will be no personal freedoms.
I am afraid you are right but never go down without a fight.
