A law won’t prevent the mark of the beast.

According to my reading about the anti-christ, you will take the mark or die....but for a state to state, those in our state do not have to take a microchip via government or any other company is a step in the right direction.

'Everyone who's ever been involved in the installation of a large PBX system knows the "666" problem ~ eventually somebody's phone is going to get that number, and it won't matter if the guy's a Buddhist he won't like it.
My solution was to assign 666 to the computer that ran the PBX. Didn't make 'em all that happy but there were no complaints.

Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend the stupidity of others. This state senator takes the cake.

More importantly, those who take the mark of the beat will understand the spiritual ramifications of doing so. The mark is a mark of allegiance, not a medical microchip.

Not exactly sure what you mean by stupid. Laws that give the individual his choice, provided it's not life or death, are always welcome.

I have little or no opinion on the law itself. It’s the posturing of, “score 1 against the antichrist” that’s unbelievably stupid.

No, you won’t die. You will not be able to legally conduct trade. You might be executed for failing to receive the mark of loyalty and obedience to the beast, but you wouldn’t just die.

It's in the nature of a religious belief. The only way you can address it is to demonstrate that a different religious belief contradicts it.
I was thinking maybe you could argue that Arjuna's Celestial Journey (to get Heavenly Weapons) might have some countervailing material.

You may be right on that, but I still don't want anyone microchipping me for anything....Thats what we do to dogs in case they get lost....
But I do wonder if those that take the mark will really understand what it means...lots of people ignorant of Scripture....Will the mark be put on babies who have no choice but it is done with parents consent....lots I don't know about or am not sure of...like all government programs they start out innocent enought and its for the good of all...and then the program grows into a monster. LBJ. the great society for starters but most of the crap we have to deal with is not to any citizens advantage, only to those that govern....

Well it's good to know that the Virginia House of Delegates has apparently solved all the other more pressing business. I think this legislator's next move should be to work towards the adoption of a state hat.

It seems to me that if you cannot deal trade, you will die. Cannot heat home in winter (trade) cannot buy food (starvation) cannot do anything that is not approved by anit christ is head off or die another way....Only a black market in food stuff etc.would allow you to live..

A mark is a symbol or token exchanged between two people which binds both them and their familes(often for succesive generations) to one another. Upon presentation of the mark, a person holding the other mark is obligated to provide aid and succor. Marks are frequently found in free masonry culture.
