wolves will kill just to kill, and leave the entire carcass....and black bears will sometimes kill just to kill..

but I know what you mean....the human race is so strange......good thing we've got a loving and forgiving Father.....

Certainly, even within nature, an unjustified killing could be found. The difference here though is illustrated with torture and degradation of another human being.

I agree that it’s a good thing our Heavenly Father is one to forgive. But while He may forgive, He at no point in scripture rescinds His demand that the willful murder of another human being is to be punished by death. I think it’s something we as Christians have somewhat confused, to the detriment of our society and the value it places on human (our) lives. After all, if we are made in the image of a Holy God, then that demands respect, and it demands punishment for those who destroy that reflection of our Heavenly Father.
