Like so many of us, we were faced with the choice between McCain and Obama. I had to hold my nose to vote for McCain. I also made telephone calls onhis behalf and was a poll watcher. Never again will I support such a candidate.
I only voted for McCain after he selected Palin as his running mate. All along I had planned to write in Duncan Hunter’s name. Looking back, I wish I would have done just that.
btw, I believe that Obama’s election is a blessing in disguise. We now have a real opportunity to shake things up in Wash. We don’t need every office to be held by a conservative, just enough to control the agenda. My guess is those far too less than perfect can be dragged along with good leadership and our constant vigilance.
