I wonder how long he will be calling himself "Joe the Plumber", like Dick the Bruiser.
I dont owe him s. He really screwed my life up, is how I look at it.
Yeah, so instead of staying at home, taking care of my kids, and getting back to a normal life, I am flying around like a rock star to Tea Parties across America.
Sorry Joe, no comparison between you and Sarah!
Someone’s worried about their 15 minutes being used up....
Joe the plummer is a guy who said something on camera America agreed with. He’s a non-entity to me. Never saw him as anything other than a plummer.
In fact, I look at him a little as the Cindy Sheehan of the Right.
Without McCain (and I don’t like McCain) Joe the Plumber would just be the local plumber.......probably selling butt-spackle........
The era of reality television - it’s all about me (Joe)!
When authentic people are seduced by hype and cameras...the love affair eventually ends..........bitterly!
So happy - not to be a silly-brity’ or a sell-ebrity;)
Time to dump McNasty and go with JD Hayworth.
Joe feels the same exact way I do about McCain. He must be defeated in the primaries.
Joe’s is the type of gut reaction that many conservatives have to McCain and right or wrong some are going to react negatively to Palin’s campaigning for him.
It’s Joe’s opinion to express and he’ll just have to take his lumps when people don’t like what they hear.
I agree that McCain is no public servant. I agree that JtP doesn’t owe McCain s***. I disagree that McCain screwed up his life. I agree that McCain used him—that’s politics.
I guess it's not surprising because whatever happened, it's not good for the left.
Either the room got pissed with Joe for complaining about Palin which means the crowd still loves Palin despite her unpopular position on the AZ primary, or they agreed with Joe and were pissed that Palin is supporting McCain, the darling of the left. I do wonder what the actual reaction was. The way they left it, they get a whack in against Palin AND Joe.
Sounds like Joe is “peeved” that the million dollar book deals, life story movies, speaking engagements didn’t materialize :)
Joe: Don’t be an ASS!

However, unlike other disillusioned voters, Joe the Plumber was a part of the campaign that might have put McCain into office instead of losing to obama. There are much better 15 minutes of fame.
I don’t love McCain either, but he was instrumental in propelling Sarah into the limelight.
I wouldn’t support his reelection bid against a real conservative, but I do understand why Sarah would campaign for him, because of their history together.
Here, 15 minutes became a real shot.
Instant branding and recognition, Joe The Plumber.
Unfortunately he has shown himself to be less than thoughful.
I realize this is media motivation for his extended spotlight,
hey Joe, say some more stupid stuff for the camera!
But the guy was given repeated chance to be heard, to have influence.
If I get into that situation I would not speak off the cuff, not answer any question I have not already considered.
Smiling and gently shaking one’s head side to side, followed by a laugh is fine, for the stupid or baited question.
Answer not just in soundbytes, but simple, common sense observations.
Responding to a question with a question works.
What do you think of national health care?
Ever been to the registry of Motor Vehicles?
Sounds like ol’ Joe is as big a kneejerk reactionary as some other “conservatives”.
Really?
First, Joe (or anybody else, for that matter) , if you have any questions or concerns or frothing anger or whatever about the gov endorsing John McCain...read her book. If you haven’t got it, go get it. If you already have it, read it. If you’ve already read it, read it again until you understand it. She obviously likes and respects him, whether or not she agrees with him on everything. And he did give her her big break on the national political scene. So her supporting McCain, rather than publicly humiliating him, should really not have been much of a surprise.
Second, I have severe problems with some of the things John McCain has done and said...but not a public servant? Really? What did you do in the war, Joey?
Third, John McCain didn’t screw up your life. The press and certain government idiots screwed up your life. Could you have avoided that? I suppose you could have kept your mouth shut like a good little boy when The Bronze Messiah came to your neighborhood and started asking for you and your neighbors’ opinions, the way those folks probably would have preferred you to do. But in America, you shouldn’t have to worry about that. But again, there are things the Maverick has done or said that he needs to answer for. Messing up your life is not one of them.
