I just did an experiment. If I try, I can make my lips do the same thing and I can also get that bit of puffiness and I’m not related to either of them (lol)and I’m not black. 0’s lips are very narrow compared to Frank’s and he has a tiny bit of a smile in that picture but Frank has no smile at all.

In regard to the au paire thing in Chicago in 1958(?), I have done some wondering if that could have been with the Ayers family. Her uncle could have helped set that up. Bill would have been a little old for a baby-sitter (I think he was about 13 then) but his brother would have been the right age to need someone around that could “watch” him during the summer. Bill might have enjoyed having someone around his own age and she could have shared with him some of the radical stuff she was picking up at her high school in Seattle. This is all COMPLETE speculation of course but I think it is plausible if she really did work as an au paire. She could have been the one that inspired him at that highly impressionable to follow a course that led eventually to his terrorist involvement in the Weather Underground. (I’m not saying that she personnaly could have inspired him to be a terrorist but just that she could have shared with him Marxist ideas that just got the ball rolling.) And this early relationship could explain Ayer’s willingness to help 0 with writing his book and having him appointed chair of the Annenberg Challenge. And since Cashill has done such a good job of showing how Ayers is the real author of “Dreams”, the information about her being an “au paire” could have come from him. Sometime last year, a blogger named Steve Diamond,who did extensive investigative research on the Annenberg Challenge, wrote up a report about a postman meeting 0 at the Ayers house in the mid-80s after he went to Chicago to be an organizer. I think it was indicated in that report that 0 had a welcomed association with the elder Ayers family. This also made me think it could be because of his mother. Again I emphasize this is speculation but it all fits together quite nicely for me.
