The last two scenarios are quite creepy.
Most Americans have seen worse family situations on Springer, and wouldn't judge him personaly based upon what his parentage is.
There has to be a reason for him to hide it, otherwise it wouldn't be hidden.
Well, at least that last scenario would make Soetoro a “natural born” American. It does not, however, address other citizenship problems having to do with his Indonesian citizenship.
